Anti tuning tuning club - TATA SE
Feb 6, 2022
TATA SE lorries have a fan following in the automotive community. Their sheer capabilities and elegance are unmatched. So I decided that my next project should be a TATA SE mod.
Finding accurate blueprint drawings for the truck was difficult, and the one I did find was not entirely accurate. However, the modeling process went smoothly, and I believe I achieved the correct proportions.
The next step was modding. Initially, I was considering adding a lift kit to make it off-road capable, but the works of a Brazilian artist on Behance inspired me to go for a slammed look. This is how the TATA became a lowrider.
I used my mishmashing technique to design the livery, incorporating high-contrast Indian artworks. I believe this design represents both the trucking community and the unique Indian truck art style.
For those interested in learning more, they can follow the painter and coffee artist on Instagram.
Similar to my other projects, SE Lowrider was also a huge hit on Instagram. Reposts of the project gained up to a million views on the platform.
This project taught me valuable lessons about finding accurate reference materials and using inspiration to guide creative decisions. I am excited to apply these lessons to future projects.
